Pendidik  Jiwa Bangsa” yang  pertama kali di sambut selepas penubuhannya pada tahun 1961 ini dirasmikan oleh  YAB Dato” Sri Mohd Najib  Tun Abdul Razak. Majlis diadakan di Taman Ekspo Pertanian Malaysia serdang (MAEPS) dihadiri oleh 5000 warga pendidik  kemas dari seluruh negeri. Pada majlis ini YAB  Perdana Menteri menyampaikan Anugerah Tokoh Perkhidmatan Setia, Anugerah Tokoh Pendidikan dan Anugerah Khas Kemas. Pada majlis ini juga wakil kemas menyampaikan deklarasi kesetiaan kepada Perdana Menteri. Turut hadir bersama Menteri Kemajuan Luar Bandar dan Wilayah, YAB  Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk  Seri  Shahidan  Kasim, Ketua Pengarah KKLW, Ketua Pengarah Kemas.

The 55th Educator Day Council, themed "Guru Pendidik Jiwa Bangsa", was inaugurated in 1961 by YAB Dato 'Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak. The ceremony was held at the Taman Pertanian Ekspo Pertanian Serdang (MAEPS) attended by 5,000 educators from all over the state, at the event YAB Prime Minister presented the Honorable Service Personnel Award, Education Personnel Award and Special Award for Excellence at the ceremony, representing the loyalty of the declaration to the Prime Minister, Also present with the Minister of Rural Development and the Territory, YAB Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, Minister in the Prime Minister's Department, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kasim, KKLW Director-General, Kemas Director-General.
